How-To-Vote Card Application Portal

Overview

A how-to-vote card (HTVC) is a guide prepared by a party, group, non-party candidate, third-party campaigner or others that provides an illustration to the elector of how to fill out their ballot paper.

A HTVC must be registered with the Western Australian Electoral Commission in order for it to be:

handed out within 100 metres of a polling place
published or distributed via physical copy or electronic communication
left at the general office of a mobile polling place
distributed by our mobile voting teams

Note: Significant penalties apply for the publication or distribution of a HTVC that is not registered.

Registration applications will only be accepted during the specified period:

Commencement - 8.00am AWST 14 February 2025
Closing - 5.00pm AWST 27 February 2025
